Day 7, River - Arrigetch to Takahula
On the way back down we were able to do a better job of staying to the trail and travel was much faster. It was still very tight going through the brush, and it often disappeared the closer we got to the river, but at least the footing was more packed down. It was a long day, over 15 hours camp to camp, but very worth it. Paul did a shorter hike down to Circle Lake during the day, so he was up a bit earlier on day 7 to catch a shot of the early morning light with smoke obscuring the distant peaks.
